About State Law Resources

Your capital connection… for administrative, regulatory and government relations counsel.

State Law Resources, Inc., is an international network of independent law firms. In the US, SLR has one from each state and the District of Columbia. US firms are selected for their experience in government relations and administrative and regulatory law at the state and federal level. Each member firm also has unique public-and private-sector experience. Outside the US, one firm per country is selected for their compatibility with the practice areas of the US firms.  Currently State Law Resources has member firms from Canada and the United Kingdom.
 
Most US firms are multi-practice, business-oriented law firms that deal with all branches of state and federal government. Our network helps businesses, trade associations and public policy coalitions navigate the complex and time-consuming process of managing both legal issues and state government relations. Our Washington, D.C. member provides the same services on federal matters.  Outside the US, member firms are multi-practice, business-oriented law firms that deal with government as is customary in their country.

Our members maintain strict standards of discretion and client confidentiality.

SLR member firms were selected for demonstrated abilities in handling administrative, regulatory and government relations issues as well as other business-oriented issues. Our goal is to ensure that each client gets the right help in the right place, as quickly as possible.

Contact any SLR member firm to open doors to representation anywhere. This SLR member firm will identify the firm(s) that can meet your needs, then coordinate the activities of other SLR members on your team. SLR has no intermediaries or finders’ fees.

An important statement from the SLR Bylaws…

The member firms of State Law Resources Inc. are each independent and practice separately. Because the member firms are not engaged in the joint practice of law, retaining one State Law Resource member firm does not mean that the resources of all member firms will be available to you. Each member firm must decide independently whether it can accept any particular representation.
