Professional Experience
Mr. Anderson is a partner on the firm’s Corporate Services team. He has over three decades of experience in resolving legal and policy issues for businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals in environmental law and policy, economic regulation, and public utilities law. His work on behalf of clients covers regulatory, legislative, and litigation solutions. His clients have included Fortune 500 telecommunications and electric companies, non-profit corporations and trade associations. The Washington Post has described Mr. Anderson as a “trusted legal and policy advisor.” The Richmond Times-Dispatch calls him “soft-spoken and cerebral.”
Mr. Anderson previously served as Counselor and Director of Policy for the Governor of Virginia, the Chief Deputy Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Virginia, counsel to committees in both the United States Senate and House of Representatives, and as an attorney in the Bureau of Competition at the Federal Trade Commission.
