Mr. Baratta’s insurance coverage experience includes representation of policyholders and the Illinois Office of Special Deputy receiver with respect to hundreds of millions of dollars in potential coverage. Mr. Baratta’s work also involves seeking coverage under historical general liability policies for long-tail claims, such as those involving asbestos, hearing loss, repetitive stress and environmental injuries or damages. Such cases often involve decades of coverage, dozens of insurance carriers and complex issues of causation and allocation.
