Professional Experience

Mr. Cosgrove’s practice focuses on government relations, representing national and state trade associations and Fortune 500 companies before the Oregon Legislature, and state and local agencies and boards. He also practices in the areas of commercial law, consumer finance law, bankruptcy law and general business law. He is a member of both the Oregon and Washington State Bars.

Mr. Cosgrove was a founding member of Friends of Public Health, and he currently chairs its Board. He has served on the boards of numerous community arts and human services organizations.

He is Lindsay, Hart’s representative to State Law Resources, a national network comprised primarily of one firm chosen in each state with special expertise in government relations and administrative law.

Insurance Experience

One of Mr. Cosgrove’s practice emphases is insurance regulatory law. He has represented and assisted insurance companies and insurance agencies in all types of regulatory matters in Oregon. He has also represented insurance companies and insurance associations before the state legislature.
