Professional Experience
Helen is the head of the Intellectual Property team, which focuses on work relating to patents, trade marks, designs, copyright, confidentiality and passing off. The team advises on both the protection and exploitation of these forms of intellectual property; typical matters include dealing with disputes where rights have been infringed, registering trade marks and designs, conducting IP audits, advising other forms of protection for IP rights, and drafting IP licences and assignments.
Helen’s particular specialist areas are patent law, trade marks, and IP on the internet. She has had substancial experience of emergency injunctions for IP clients and acted in the leading case on mandatory injunctions.
