Professional Experience

Peck Fox is a shareholder in the Montgomery office of Maynard, Cooper & Gale, P.C. Mr. Fox’s practice focuses primarily on government, legislative and administrative law, with an emphasis on healthcare. He regularly represents clients in administrative hearings and contested cases before various departments and agencies of state government, and also counsels clients on political, governmental and regulatory affairs, as well as matters involving federal and state campaign law.

From 1981 until 1986, Mr. Fox worked in Washington, D.C., on the staff of Alabama’s United States Senator Howell Heflin. After a year working in governmental and legal affairs for a large multi-state corporation, he worked from 1987 through 1992 as Chief of Staff to Lt. Governor Jim Folsom, after which he entered private law practice. After Folsom became Governor in April of 1993, Mr. Fox served as a vice-chair of his transition team, and later served as Chairman and Manager of Governor Folsom’s campaign.

Mr. Fox is a member of the American and Alabama Bar Associations, and currently serves as Vice-chair of the Administrative Law Section of the Alabama Bar. He is also a member of the Council of the Alabama Law Institute, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
