Practice Emphasis
Mr. Guy’s practice is concentrated in insurance litigation, including representation of insurers and policyholders in complex coverage, declaratory judgment and bad faith suits. He has defended insurers and represented individual and corporate policyholders in numerous cases involving claims in the multiple millions of dollars. Mr. Guy was lead counsel for a major trucking company in an insurance bad faith lawsuit that resulted in a recovery in excess of $65 million. He was also lead counsel for a food processing company in an insurance bad faith lawsuit that resulted in a $10 million recovery. His practice also includes mediation and arbitration (as party selected neutral) of insurance related disputes, product liability defense and defense of insurance brokers, accountants and lawyers in professional liability matters.
