Gaming Experience
Mr. Pellecchia represents gaming clients and suppliers, vendors, financial institutions and other entities doing business with the casino industry. He handles matters before the New Jersey Casino Control Commission and the New Jersey Racing Commission. His gaming matters include mergers, acquisitions, licensing, enforcement actions, rule proposals and challenges, and administrative and appellate litigation.
Insurance Experience
Mr. Pellecchia frequently represents insurance companies, trade associations, health maintenance organizations and self-insureds before the New Jersey Departments of Banking and Insurance. In a major New Jersey regulatory case, on behalf of CIGNA, Mr. Pellecchia convinced the New Jersey Supreme Court to invalidate an assessment formula imposed on all health insurers in New Jersey. He has served on the Board of Directors of a property and casualty
insurance company.
