Professional Experience
Robert Stocker, II’s practice emphases are in the areas of Gaming, Corporate Law, Indian Law, Insurance, and Mergers and Acquisitions.
Mr. Stocker is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the International Association of Gaming Advisors, the Gaming Law Review, and American Inns of Court. He also serves as President in the International Masters of Gaming Law and The Thomas M. Cooley Law School Legal Authors Society. Mr. Stocker also serves as an adjunct professor at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Business Organizations, Business Planning, and Gaming Law.
Mr. Stocker has authored, co-authored and co-edited several publications, including Michigan Detroit Casino Supplier and Occupational Licensing Process and The Child Protection Registry Acts: Feel Good Legislation Run Amok among others.
Mr. Stocker has extensive hearing practice before the Michigan Gaming Control Board and has drafted a referendum, legislative amendments, motions, briefs and opinion memoranda in diverse areas.
Mr. Stocker’s community involvement includes serving as a Board Member and Secretary of the Potter Park Zoological Society.
