Education

Ms. Vaughn earned her law degree from DePaul University in Chicago, where she was on the staff of the DePaul Business Law Journal and the Arts and Entertainment Law Journal.  She graduated cum laude from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in economics.

Professional Experience

Ms. Vaughn focuses her practice on complex civil litigation and commercial transactions.  She represents clients in a wide range of disputes before courts, arbitrators and administrative agencies.  Her practice includes contract, business, employment, energy and environmental matters, as well as insurance defense.

Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Ms. Vaughn was an extern for the United States Customs Regional Counsel in Chicago.  She also was engaged in private practice with a Chicago law firm, working in the areas of civil litigation and eminent domain and representing individual and corporate clients during trials, arbitrations, and depositions.  She has practiced before state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels.

Ms. Vaughn is licensed in Massachusetts, Illinois, Colorado and Arizona.
