Announcement from Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti LLP

Our partner Stuart M. Lederman recently argued before the Supreme Court of New Jersey in Burnett v. County of Bergen. The case concerns whether individuals have a constitutional right to privacy in information contained in realty transfer documents that have been recorded by the County Clerk, and if so, whether redaction of their social security numbers is required before the documents are produced for inspection and copying under the Open Public Records Act.

A webcast of the argument is available at http://www.judiciary.state.nj.us/webcast/asx/A_43_08.asx.
