| Mr. Rodophele is the firm’s primary government affairs attorney and has an extensive background in Massachusetts government. Having served in the Office of the Attorney General for five years, including two years as Chief of the Public Utilities Division, he provides government affairs and lobbying counsel to both public and private entities and has extensive experience in initiative and referendum law. Since 1986, Mr. Rodophele has been a shareholder in the law firm of Ferriter Scobbo & Rodophele PC. Immediately prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rodophele was a shareholder in the firm of Ferriter & Barna, P.C. From 1974 to 1980, he served in the Civil Bureau of the Office of the Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Recently, he represented all of the Massachusetts municipal electric companies in developing a legislative strategy to secure their exemption from the Electric Utility Restructuring Act of 1997 in Massachusetts. His legislative clients cover many major industries including, but not limited to, alcohol, entertainment, technology, gaming, telecommunications, insurance, plastics and utilities.
